Since February 2000, the University Hospitals of Lausanne and the University of Lausanne (UNIL) have launched a skilled and efficient office of technology transfer. This office, PACTT, provides confidential and personalised services. It efficiently manages the IP of the two founding Institutions and their affiliates, taking care of aspects such as evaluation of inventions, their protection and all related legal and contractual aspects.
PACTT acts as entry point for industries seeking access to specific academic expertise. For instance, extensive know-how in clinical trials and technology validations are available at the University hospital of Lausanne.
