CONTINUOUS MEDICAL EDUCATION (ASPECT MANAGEMENT)

Apart from continuous medical education at the academic level, the Geneva University Hospitals offer staff a continuous management training programme based on the analysis of the current context of management in the public service. This programme is open to all 900 medical staff of the Geneva University Hospitals, i.e. to associate and assistant doctors and professors. The programme consists of 25 modules chosen by staff in accordance with their professional needs. To ensure that the participants acquire a broad understanding of hospital activity, the seminars are deliberately multidisciplinary, doctors sharing classes with nurses, paramedics, administrators and logistics specialists.

To encourage medical staff to take part, the programme leads to a recognised academic qualification, namely the HEC continuous training certificate awarded by the University of Geneva.
