HUG : management plan, partnership with university of Geneva, applied clinical research
In their 2003-2006 management plan, the Geneva University Hospitals have clearly defined four priority main lines : The HUG carry out their research activities in close partnership with the Faculty of medicine and in-house.PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF GENEVA
The HUG are key partners in the research activities carried out by the University of Geneva and in particular by the Faculty of medicine. This participation finds expression notably in the financing of salaries and teams or in making infrastructures available (equipment, laboratory surfaces, etc.). APPLIED CLINICAL RESEARCH AT THE HUG
In addition to the four priority main lines previously cited, the HUG develop projects in two complementary directions :
Quality projects of a very concrete orientation that principally emphasise safety in medical care and the active participation of the patient in the decisions concerning him or her. The objective consists in developing a spirit of continuous improvement.
